Platform

This workspace combines Open WebUI (an open-source AI chat interface) with custom workflow tools built by LogicalOutcomes for nonprofit work. AI chat assistants connect to external models through API providers. Workflow tools (transcription, data cleaning, document generation, qualitative analysis) run as step-by-step web applications on the same server.

The entire platform is self-hosted on Canadian infrastructure managed by LogicalOutcomes.

Your data

The short version: Keep client names and personal details out of your conversations. Use roles and general descriptions instead — for example, “a program participant in their 40s” rather than someone’s name.

Here’s how the platform handles your information:

  • Your conversations are stored on LogicalOutcomes-managed infrastructure. Other users cannot see your conversations.
  • Platform administrators at LogicalOutcomes can access the platform for troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • When you send a message, it’s processed by the AI model provider used by that tool. Depending on the tool, that may include Google, Zhipu AI, or other services. See the Tools page for details on each tool’s data handling.
  • Under current API terms, your conversations are not used to train the providers’ AI models.
  • Documents you upload to a conversation are processed the same way — sent to the model provider to generate a response, then stored on our server.

For details on how each individual tool handles your data — including which AI model it uses, where data is processed, and what information is sent to external services — see the Tools page.
